I am very excited to present a brand-new crochet pattern today – the 1915 Clark Medallion Yoke! This pattern features detailed instructions, including images to provide visual aid, as well as material recommendations, all to ensure stunning results!

I found this pattern to be a bit challenging to rework, as so many of these vintage patterns are, but to me, that is all part of the fun! The challenges, however, led to a few slight modifications from the original, including a simplified joining process, but the end result is an excellent replica of this vintage yoke that honors its heritage and respects the crochet tradition of the original pattern.
Ways to use the pattern
This pattern is suitable for crafters of all skill levels, and is versatile enough to be used in several ways:
Modern Fashion: You can incorporate this yoke into contemporary pieces, such as sweaters, dresses, jackets or blouses, blending vintage style with current trends.
Restoration: Those replicating or restoring original garments from this period can use the pattern to replace worn yokes or create new ones without losing authenticity.
I really love reworking these beautiful historic yoke patterns. Even though some of them can be challenging to translate into coherent instructions that work, it is so worth the effort. The satisfaction and joy that I feel when both the patterns are completed and when I see the final results of the yokes themselves is indescribable! And this particular pattern was no exception to that.
I hope that anyone who buys this pattern will have as much fun creating the yoke as I did reworking the pattern and creating the yoke myself in the process.
Happy Crocheting!
